A new roof and solar panels were installed by the contractor of this customer. Installation and configuration of the Micro inverter and Data Transfer Unit (DTU) of the manufacturer Hoymiles. This customer procured that hardware themselves post installation the activation of the accounts need to be done by an installer.

After the new site was added to our management portal and a customer login was created allows for the DTU and microinverters to be configurerd. A DTU is responsible for communicating with the wireless router and the solar panels (bridge function). 

Once all is configured the customer can monitor indivudual panel output, see historical telemetry and see the total power generated. Cande also centrally monitors all installed sites for errors and alerts.
